A MAN collapsed near a brook by Priory Park late Friday afternoon.
A Herts and Essex Air Ambulance helicopter landed in the park and ambulance crews and paramedics spent about 30 minutes working on the person before they came round and were transferred by road ambulance to hospital.
Crowds gathered as paramedics tirelessly worked on the casualty.
