HARRY Redknapp was at Southend United’s training ground this afternoon overseeing the Shrimpers’ preparations for Saturday’s trip to Fleetwood Town.
The former Tottenham Hotspur manager has worked closely with new Blues boss Kevin Bond throughout his career.
And Redknapp was at Boots & Laces today to run the rule over the Southend squad.
Bond was named as the replacement for Chris Powell earlier this week and will take charge of his first game when Blues go to Fleetwood this weekend.
It is not yet known if Redknapp will be handed an official role by the Shrimpers who are currently fighting against relegation from League One.
Blues have gone 12 games without a win and are currently 20th in the table, above the relegation zone on goal difference.
