For years Essex DJ Paul Kidley has been keeping the party jumping for charity, and now he's at it again.

His Overdose of Joy project originally started as a charity night supporting organisations such as Save The Children, Breast Cancer Research and more, quickly becoming a popular monthly event.

Later this month he'll be leading a fundraising night for The Ark Centre, which helps children with autism.

As well as a whole host of 80s tunes from Paul, guests will be treated to a glass of prosecco on arrival, four glasses of wine and canapes before the chance to dance the night away.

Fancy dress is encouraged on the night with dance-goers having the chance to snap themselves in a photo booth as well as bid on a variety of fantastic auction prizes.

Sarah Day, Founder of The Ark Centre, says: “If you love everything 80s then this is the night for you.

"We couldn’t have put this fabulous night on without the amazing help of Version Events, Nethergate Wines, Overdose of Joy and all the other local businesses who have been incredible in making sure this event goes off with a bang. The kindness and support from local companies and the public continues to astound us as we aim to raise as much as we can to support more pre-schoolers with autism."

Ark Centre's 80s Night is at Five Lakes Hotel and Spa, Tolleshunt Knights, on April 27. To book tickets e-mail contactus@katmarketing.co.uk
