A TEENAGER has been arrested for carrying a commando knife on a train from Southend.
Officers of the British Transport Police were carrying out foot patrols on the c2c Rail services from Southend on Friday night when they stopped an 18-year-old male.
The teenager was travelling on the train from Southend to Barking, and was discovered carrying a commando knife, plus hundreds of pounds in cash.
BTP stated the teenager had two phones seized and was being investigated for other offences.
Transport Police tweeted on Saturday: "Officers on late Friday night conducting c2c Rail foot patrols arrested an 18 year old male travelling from Southend to Barking they found carrying a commando knife.
"Officers are also investigating additional offences & have seized both his phones & over £500 in cash."
