SOUTHEND PIER HOSTS FOLK WEEKEND
THE mile-long pier held celebrations of Southend’s cultural heritage last weekend.
Traditional music and dance were performed inside the Royal Pavilion which included several different folk and country bands.
Performers from Southend were invited and recommended to perform up on stage with the other performers.
Refreshments included a real ale pop-up bar within the pavilion alongside the classic seaside food.
Entry was free across both days and visitors were able to access the usual pier attractions too.
