A DEVELOPER says Basildon is the ideal place to rent for professionals hoping to escape the expensive London market.
It comes after as a Lloyds survey shows London professionals save most on the cost of their home if they are willing to commute for an average of an hour by train.
Joe Green, Managing Director of London Green, said: “The benefits of renting an apartment just outside of central London are clear.

Rental prices start at £800 per month for a one-bed flat set against more than £3,000 the equivalent in central London.
