FIREFIGHTERS tackled a car fire in Southend this morning after it was targeted by arsonists.
Large amounts of smoke could be seen coming from the black Porsche around 12.30am this morning in Prince Avenue.
Several emergency services vehicles were on the scene, including four police cars.
A spokesman for Essex Fire Service, said: "We were called to a car fire at 12.20 this morning.
"The fire was extinguished by 1.30am and has been recorded as deliberate."
Essex Police have been contacted for comment.
