THE live music and cookery theatre line up has been announced for the Ilkley Food & Drink Festival.

The anticipated foodie event has released it’s cookery theatre and entertainment line up, featuring The Box Tree’s Michael Carr and Paul Leonard of The Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa.

The line-ups focus on variety and local talent. “It’s taken time and effort to choose such a quality mixture of entertainment and we are all so incredibly proud to showcase some of the most existing and emerging talent on our doorstep,” said Michael Johnston, Festival Director.

Over 100 performers will perform in the live music area, such as the impressive Carioca Soul, a new Latin Jazz project inspired by the music of Sergio Mendes & Brasil ‘66.

You’ll be on your feet with Lucy’s Pop Choir who sing popular songs everyone knows and loves, perfect with a deck chair and beer!

The region’s top chefs, Michael Carr of The Box Tree, Stephanie Moon of Rudding Park and Paul Leonard of The Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa will all be there to provide inspiration in the kitchen.

“The festival runs on the ethos ‘internationally inspired, locally produced’, added Michael. “The Chef’s Demo area is no different. Ilkley boasts brilliant talent, we’re here to celebrate it. We’ve partnered with Yorkshire Food Guide to bring some of the region’s best chefs.”

Thousands are expected to descend on the East Holmes Field for the event on June 29-30, 2019.
