THUGS stole hundreds of pounds from a man after holding a knife to his neck in broad daylight.

The man in his 30s, had been walking by garages just off Honeypot Lane at around 10.20am today when he was approached by three men.

They asked him for the time before one of the men grabbed him around the neck and another threatened him with a knife.

The men took two bank cards and hundreds of pounds in cash before making off towards Broadmayne.

The victim was not seriously injured.

The first man has been described to us as white, in his 40s, around 6ft tall, of medium build with short dark hair and wearing a black top and jeans.

The second man has been described as white, in his 40s, around 5ft 5ins tall, slim with shoulder-length scruffy hair with a gold hoop earring, possibly a tattoo above his left eyebrow and wearing a black bomber jacket and tracksuit trousers.

The third man is also described as white, in his 40s, around 5ft 5ins tall and slim with very short hair, and wearing a white top and blue jeans.
