A MAN had to be cut free from a car when it flipped upside down in a crash.
The crash happened in Hillcrest Road, Southend at around 2.18pm between two vehicles.
Two fire engines were sent to the scene.
A spokesman for Essex Fire Service said: "On arrival firefighters reported that one vehicle had overturned and a man was trapped inside.
"Crews worked to release the casualty and left him in the care of the ambulance service at 2.50pm."
