A GOLFER from Billericay will be tackling 72 holes in one day.
Jack Farrington will take on the holes back-to-back at Basildon Golf Course on August 30 to raise money for Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
His day will begin at 5.30am, carrying his clubs and walking between all holes.
Mr Farrington said: “I wanted to raise money for the air ambulance because the charity has been well thought of throughout my family for many years with my nan and mum generously donating over the years, you could say it is a family tradition.
“That’s something I want to continue! The bit I’m looking forward to is having friends and family walk the course with me, supporting me throughout the day. Oh yes, and a nice cold pint afterwards.”
He has raised £390 so far.
