HENRIK Larsson is the bookmakers favourite to be the next Southend United manager but fans have mixed feelings about his possible appointment.
Larsson, who watched the Shrimpers win 1-0 at MK Dons on Saturday, is 4/11 to take charge.
But an incredibly close Echosport poll, which attracted almost 1,700 votes, showed just 33 per cent of fans had the former Sweden international as their first choice to replace Kevin Bond.
Gary Waddock, who is currently in charge as caretaker manager, received 32 per cent of the votes with Adam Barrett topping the poll with 35 per cent.
Waddock is second favourite for the job at 4/1 with Barrett third at 10/1.
