A WATER main has burst causing delays in Benfleet.
The main on High Road burst at around 3am this morning, and Essex and Suffolk Water has crews on site trying to repair the damage.
A spokesman said: "We were made aware of customers experiencing low pressure early this morning due to a nine inch main burst at High Street, Benfleet.
"A technician was on site and able to shut down the burst by 7.30am. The water supply to 32 customers is currently affected while we work to repair the water main as quickly as possible. The repair should be complete by approximately 6pm.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and would like to thank everyone for their patience while we complete these repairs."
