TWO people have been arrested following windows on cars and houses were smashed in Billericay and Wickford last week.
The windows were smashed with a catapult, police reported on Friday.
A 15-year-old and an 18-year-old, both from Billericay, were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and theft of a motor vehicle.
A spokesperson from Essex Police, said: "We received a number of calls that house and car windows had been damaged in the Beams Way, Mill Road and Crays Hill areas between 10.20pm and 10.50pm on Thursday 3 October.
"A man and a teenager were arrested in Laurel Avenue, Wickford, this afternoon, Monday 7 October.
"The 15-year-old and 18-year-old, both from Billericay,
"They remain in custody for questioning.
"Our investigation into Thursday’s incidents is still ongoing and we are continuing to make CCTV enquiries and speak to witnesses."
