A SHOPKEEPER was threatened at knife-point at a convenience store in Hockley.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident last night at SS Convenience Store on Plumberow Avenue.

After the attack around 7pm where the thug demanded for the till to be emptied, he soon realised that other staff were present in the shop and left empty-handed.

He is described as being white, of slim build, and aged in his early 20s or late teens. He wore a full grey tracksuit.

Anyone with information about this incident, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage nearby which could assist in the investigation, is asked to call 101 quoting the incident number 970 of November 26.
