A MAN has appeared in court charged with a string of offences, after being caught by a police dog.
Connor Annereau, 23, of Fraser Close, Shoebury appeared at Chelmsford Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
He was charged with two counts of aggravated vehicle taking, possession of a Class B drug, two counts of failing to stop when directed by officers, two counts of using a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurances and two counts of driving whilst disqualified.
The hearing came after a man was apprehended by a police dog after a chase.
Officers from Southend Proactive team chased a stolen motorbike through the town.
The rider decided to take his chances on foot, but didn’t realise PD Tygo was in pursuit and found him hiding under a parked car.
The man was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle.
