POLICE have issued a warning after a spate of vehicle crime.
The warning urges residents in the Castle Point district to remain vigilant after 10 cars and vans were targeted in only 48 hours.
Essex Police have told vehicle owners to ensure vehicles are secured and valuable items are removed where possible, and to leave nothing on show.
A spokesman for the force issued further advice to drivers, to register their property, which can range from power tools to a mobile phone, on Immobilise, an Essex Police endorsed scheme.
To do so, follow www.immobilise.com.
