VILE graffiti has been drawn onto a pharmacy, while Essex and the rest of the UK remember those who lost their lives in the Holocaust.
The graffiti, painted on a wall, in High Road, in Benfleet, reads "kill the jews".
The vile slogan is accompanied by a swastika.
Today marks the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
The national Holocaust Memorial day is also held today.
Southend Council held a service of commemoration at the civic centre on Sunday, to remember those who lost their lives.
Essex Police have been contacted for a statement.
