Pictures have been released of fire crews rescuing a woman eight inches of floods at her home.
The elderly woman was rescued after she became trapped in her home by the waters.
Crews rushed to the bungalow in Thorpe Hall Avenue, Thorpe Bay at about 9.04am.
The firefighters found there was approximately 8 inches of water surrounding the property and the elderly resident inside was unable to get out of her home.
Firefighters worked to unblock a drain and move the floodwater away from the woman’s home to prevent water damage.
