RUSH hour commuters are being hit with cancellations and delays.
Greater Anglia trains have been delayed and are not stopping at certain stations due to signalling problems.
A signalling error at Southend station has caused disruption for passengers arriving and departing.
The train company tweeted earlier this morning: "Due to a fault with the signalling system at Southend Victoria some lines are blocked.
"Train services running to and from this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
"Disruption is expected until 07:00 03/02."
An hour later, Greater Anglia stated that disruption had ended.
However, at 7am, they confirmed that the 6.50 service from Liverpool Street to Southend would not stop at several stations. These included Billericay, Wickford, Rayleigh, Hockley, Rochford and Prittlewell.
This train was also delayed by four minutes.
