POLICE are appealing for information after a man suffered cuts to his body while being assaulted.

Essex Police were called by a third party after a man attended address in Pitsea with injuries at around 5.30pm on Wednesday January 22.

Officers received information that the victim, who is in his 20s, had small cuts to his chest, arm and leg after being attacked by man armed with a knife in Littlebury Green. 

He was walking with his friend, who was not attacked, when they were approached by three people. 

The man holding the knife has been described as being white, 5ft 6in tall, aged in his 20s.

He is said to have been wearing a dark blue Puffa jacket with a hood and black tracksuit bottoms at the time of the incident.

The second suspect has been described as being 5ft 4ins tall, aged in his 20s and wore all black.

The third suspect has been described as being 5ft 11ins tall, aged in his 20s and was wearing a grey jumper with black on, black bottoms and black shoes.
