AN AIR ambulance has landed in a school field in Westcliff.
The air ambulance was seen coming from Southchurch before landing in St. Helen's School, at North Road, around 5pm.
It is believed there has been a crash on the London Road by The Cricketers pub - traffic is moving extremely slow in that area.
It is advised to avoid the area if possible.
A spokesperson from the ambulance service, said: "We were called to London Road in Westcliff at around 4.10pm on February 11 following reports of a collision.
"We sent an ambulance, rapid response vehicle, ambulance officer and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
"Crews treated two patients at the scene before transporting them by road to Southend Hospital for further assessment and care."
