Three people are to be sentenced at Leeds Crown Court tomorrow following an arson attack at a house in Stonedene Court, Heckmondwike, in August last year.
Mohammed Azad, 45, of Mortimer Avenue, Batley, was convicted of attempted murder and co-defendants Vishal Thapar, 32, of Brooke Street, Cleckheaton, and Semia Hussain, 26, of Hawthorne Avenue, Batley, were found guilty of arson being reckless as to whether life was endangered.
Family members were forced to jump from a window to escape the blaze.
All three defendants were convicted by a jury after a trial.
