STAFF at Basildon Hospital are urging people to stay home.
The medical team at the Orsett Ward in the hospital, which is dedicated to caring for cancer patients, has issued the appeal to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
In their message, shared from the ward, they wrote: “We stayed at work for you, now stay home for us!”
All UK citizens must now stay home unless getting food, exercise or to go to essential work.
