THAMES Delta Radio and Quest Music Services are set to host a jam-packed programme of live online events from April.

The radio station which showcases DJs/MCs, singer songwriters and musicians to online audiences, and the not-for-profit arts organisation, which works to provide music opportunities for children and adults, said these live events can be watched and interacted with on all social media platforms including YouTube, taking place six days a week.

Dorion Quest, spokesman for the organisation, which is based in Thurrock said: “The creative community is coming together nationally to support each other and raise money that may be needed during this difficult time.

“We are supported by Arts Council England and public donations from Thurrock’s citizens.”

The weekly program will include:
•Home schooling broadcasts from QMS music tutors and teachers from Thurrock’s schools
•Online Virtual Open Mic Nights - a platform for up and coming musicians and hobbyists
•Virtual Festivals showcasing music and visual art
•Live DJ sets daily from 5pm until 10pm featuring 40 local DJ’s and internationally known celebrities.
•Box Fit tutoring and ‘get fit online’ with the nation
•Live virtual music events featuring live bands and singer song-writers

Mr Quest added: “The daily events will be supporting arts and culture and raising money to help support vital and essential aid for those effected by Covid 19/Corona Virus.

“Look out for and use the hashtag #artadapts.

“For anyone wishing to be involved please email info@questmusicservices.com. We are also considering good causes to donate money to.”

He added that the arts and culture community is “prepared and will stay strong working together.”
