POLICE stopped a car in Basildon with three people inside on suspicion of flouting Covid-19 lockdown rules.
Their instinct proved right. Three people in the car were from different households with no valid reason to be out together, officers said.
Strong advice was given to all three, police added.
Police seized the car because the driver had no licence. All three walked home separately because the car was seized.
