A MAN has died following an incident in Shoebury.
Police and ambulance crews attended the scene in Weaverdale this morning.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We responded to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man in Shoeburyness earlier today, Friday 3 April.
"We were called to Weaverdale at 10am this morning.
"Unfortunately, a man in his 60s was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
An East of England Ambulance spokesman said: "We were called at 10.01am with reports of a cardiac arrest in Weaverdale, Shoebury.
"We sent the Hazardous Area Response Team, an ambulance and an ambulance officer."
