THE Prime Minister Boris Johnson is on the mend after coming out of intensive care.
Fears were raised after he contracted Covid-19 and was hospitalised on Sunday after his symptoms worsened.
Downing Street said he was admitted to intensive care on Monday as a precautionary measure.
This evening a Government spokesman said: "The Prime Minister has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery.
"He is in extremely good spirits."
