TALENTED photographers across the county have been capturing the beauty of south Essex, both indoors and outside.

Members of the Echo’s Camera Club have still been taking their stunning photos despite the nationwide lockdown.

The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in many members housebound, but thankfully their home activities, pets and garden life have provided some excellent shots. And they have all maintained a social distance!

People have also been making the most of their one form of exercise per day by taking beautiful scenic shots of the quieter wilderness, and empty public transport.

One NHS worker, Decky Stainsbury, was on a completely empty tube in London as she travelled to work to help save lives.

Since its launch, the club has been very successful; Before the lockdown members arranged social meetings and photography sessions across the county.

Keen amateur and professional photographers go out and about and the best parts of Southend, Basildon, Canvey and everything in between and then share their findings.

Tens of thousands of images have been captured since it started and those who are involved can post their pictures to the group to share with members sharing their thoughts and advice to other photographers.
