ORGANISERS of Colchester Youth Awards are calling on groups to nominate youngsters who have gone above and beyond to help others during the coronavirus crisis.
The youth awards celebrate the courage, caring and achievement of youngsters living, working or studying in the Colchester area.
A spokesman said: “We know young people are carrying out practical tasks to assist organisations who are supporting people and communities who need help.
“These acts certainly need celebrating and we want to make sure that they are considered for an award.”
To nominate, email cya2006@outlook.com with the youngster’s name, what they have done and your contact details.
This year’s awards have been postponed but they will be restored next year.
