A DRIVER suspected of being under the influence of drugs "deliberately" trapped a police officer's hand in his window.
The officer, who had stopped the vehicle in Basildon, suffered a minor injury, Essex Police's road policing unit said.
The motorist was taken into custody on suspicion of assault on an emergency worker and drug driving.
