ONE further hospital patient has died from coronavirus in mid Essex.
It takes the total number of Covid-19 related deaths at the Mid Essex Hospital Trust - which runs Broomfield Hospital - to 170.
There have been no new deaths announced at Halstead, meaning the total remains at one while no new deaths have been announced at Braintree Community Hospital or St Peter's in Maldon.
Today's figures released by the NHS show another six hospital patients have died from Covid-19 in Essex.
Two happened at the East Suffolk and North Essex trust taking it's total to 303.
Two patients at Princess Alexandra in Harlow and one patient lost their life in Southend.
These are the confirmed number of deaths at trusts which run hospitals in Essex:
East Suffolk and North Essex: 303
Basildon and Thurrock Trust: 259
Princess Alexandra: 203
Southend: 179
Mid Essex Trust: 170
Anglian Community Enterprise- Fryatt Hospital: 19
Essex Partnership Trust: 16
Provide - Braintree Community Hospital: 6
Provide- St Peters Hospital-2
Anglian Community Enterprise- Clacton Hospital: 2
Provide - Halstead Hospital-1
