Six recovery trucks were filled with the remains of stolen cars after police raided a suspected "chop shop" in Benfleet.

Police from Rochford and Castle Point assisted colleagues from the stolen vehicle intelligence unit - specialists targeting organised vehicle crime.
Police officers from the unit said with assistance from the Rochford and Castle Point community policing team and detectives, three storage containers were uncovered.
Officers searched the containers.
Fourteen hours after, six recovery trucks were filled with the remains of several stolen cars
Police say the investigation continues. However, as police were investigating, a car was stopped and two men were later arrested on suspicion of theft after a van was stopped.
