A MAN has been arrested for conspiracy to murder and being involved in the production of 500 cannabis plants.
The 19-year-old man from Harlow remains in custody in connection with the murder of Asqeri Spaho in Tintern Avenue, Westcliff on December 12 last year.
Six men have already been charged with his murder.
The latest arrest was on suspicion of conspiracy to murder as well as being concerned in the production of cannabis in connection with the discovery of around 500 plants at a property in Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff, on March 30 this year.
Scott Heaney 22, of Hurlock Street, Highbury, Brian Kincloch, 31, of Beachcroft Way, Upper Holloway, Wesley Hendrickson, 31, of Ashcroft Close in Enfield, Leon Wright, 31, of Highbury New Park, Mitchell Harris, 29, of Hornsey Road, Holloway, and Durald Sokoli, 27, of Ayley Croft, Enfield, have been charged with Mr Spaho's murder.
They will stand trial at Basildon Crown Court at a later date.
