Second power cut in Westcliff following emergency repairs
AN ongoing power cut in Westcliff has affected hundreds of homes since early on this morning.
Engineers had to turn off power in the area to carry out emergency repairs to the network.
UK Power Networks have dug up the roads at Southbourne Grove and Chalkwell Avenue, in Westcliff, to fix faulty mains.
Works are expected to last until June 18.

For residents in Southbourne Grove and the surrounding streets, this comes as the second power cut in less than a week.
