NO new deaths of patients who had tested positive for coronavirus have been reported across the whole of Essex.
There were also no new deaths of those with the condition across the whole of the east of England recorded yesterday.
NHS England figures show there were a further 28 deaths in the country's hospitals recorded on Monday.
No new deaths from the virus have been announced at the East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Colchester Hospital, since Saturday.
A total of 341 people have died at Colchester and Ipswich hospitals after testing positive for coronavirus.
Across Britain, 295,889 cases of the virus have now been confirmed and there have been a total of 41,698 deaths linked to the condition recorded.
