A woman and two teenage girls were assaulted after a fight broke out at KFC.

Police are now calling on anyone who may have seen the incident, which happened at 5pm yesterday evening, to come forward.

The appeal comes after a woman in her twenties and two teenage girls were assaulted at KFC in Pitsea Retail Park, in High Road, Pitsea.

They were not seriously injured and police enquiries remain ongoing.

A spokesperson from Essex Police, said: "We were called shortly after 5pm on July 1 with reports of a fight near KFC at Pitsea Retail Park in High Road, Pitsea.

"Officers attended and spoke to a number of women at the scene. A woman in her 20s and two teenage girls reported being assaulted.

"Witnesses and anyone with mobile phone footage is asked to call the Basildon local policing team on 101 quoting reference 42/96578/20.
