OFFICERS have released an e-fit image of a woman they want to speak with in connection with an incident where a girl was bitten by a dog in a park.

The 14-year-old girl was walking her dog near the football pitch in Rushley Park, Burnt Mills Road, Basildon when a German Shepherd ran towards them and started chasing her dog.

As the girl picked up her pet, the German Shepherd bit her on the hand.

A woman and a man retrieved the dog and took it away.

Police would like to speak to them both about the incident, which took place on 27 June at 4.15pm.

The man was described as white, about 6ft tall, and of medium build. He was aged in his early 30s and had short dark hair, tattoos, and wore a grey T-shirt.

The woman was described as white, about 5ft 5ins tall and had shoulder length blonde hair with green tints. She was of slim build, had tattoos, and wore a black vest and denim shorts.
