POLICE are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Oswestry at the weekend.
The incident happened at around 9.20pm on Saturday, July 11 at the crossroads of Leg Street, Cross Street and Oswald Road.
A 52-year-old man was injured in the incident and was left with a fractured jaw after being assaulted by a group of males and females.
The assault happened after a verbal altercation.
Police officers are carrying out enquiries and appealing for anyone with any information to get in contact.
