Now more than ever people need to know they are in safe hands – and that’s why Lifestyle & Mobility are going above and beyond to ensure customers feel protected as we emerge from the Covid-19 lockdown.

The company is known for selling quality equipment and mobility aids at the lowest prices possible as well as for raising the bar when it comes to customer service.

Echo:

It stocks everything from powered wheelchairs and mobility scooters to rise and recline furniture, bathing aids, adjustable beds and walking aids. You name it they can supply it. They even offer free home assessment visits for those who can’t get out to one of their branches.

The whole ethos of the business is to help people with mobility and health problems to live their best lives possible, and that customer service will come into its element now that the way we live and shop post coronavirus has changed for the foreseeable future.

Since the outbreak, the company, which has several shops, including in Basildon, Southend and Potters Bar, has put a number of measures in place to ensure customer and staff safety.

Darren Macey, Business Development Manager for Lifestyle & Mobility, said: “While many others have been shut down, Lifestyle and Mobility have still been operating in a small way to ensure we don’t let our customers down in these testing times.

“We understand the importance more than ever of being there for our vulnerable customers and their families when they need us for vital maintenance such as battery replacement and fixing punctures. We have been delivering hospital beds to homes which have free up vital hospital space, and we have also been ramping up our social media efforts to stay in touch with those who may be feeling depressed and lonely.

“We’ve been lifting their spirits by contacting those on our database offering to collect shopping for them and just having a friendly old chit chat”.

Lifestyle & Mobility stores are now open as normal, but with social distancing rules to keep everyone safe. Measures include square boxes outlined on the floors, PPE shields installed on the counters and all staff wearing full face shields on assessments and deliveries.

Lifestyle & Mobility was founded by Ronald Sverdloff and has grown from humble beginnings into a leader in its field.

In addition to their Market Square, Basildon premises, the firm also has an extensive store at the Victoria Shopping Centre in Southend, as well as at the Enterprise Centre in Potter’s Bar, Hertfordshire.

The company has won a number of awards and accreditations over the years and has built up strong associations with the NHS, various charities and nursing and residential homes.
