A CRASH between a car and motorbike has closed a road in Southend.
Shocking pictures from the scene of the crash, believed to have happened in the past hour, on Bournemouth Park Road near the junction with Eastern Avenue.
The scene shows the wreckage of a motorbike and a brown car in the middle of the road.
Ambulances and fire engines were also at the scene.
An air ambulance has landed in a nearby field.
The road is closed while emergency services attend the scene.
At least one patient was being treated by paramedic crews.
The ambulance and fire service have been contacted for comment.
UPDATE: A man in his 20s has been flown to hospital after the crash with serious injuries.
