Firefighters race to rescue trapped driver from vehicle after crash near ASDA
Emergency crews worked to rescue a driver who was trapped in their vehicle after a car crash.
Firefighters rushed to the scene on Southernhay, Basildon, after receiving reports that two vehicles had crashed and that one person was stuck inside their car.
The crash, which happened at around 3.33pm yesterday afternoon near ASDA at Eastgate Shopping Centre, saw teams work to rescue the casualty by 4.53pm.
They were then left in the care of the ambulance service.
