Three men have been charged with kidnapping a man in Grays.
Police were called at around 9.10am on Friday morning (August 14), after concerns were raised for a man who was seen being attacked and pushed into a white Audi A6 on Long Lane.
Albinas Vidzikauskas, 46, Dalius Pranskevicius, 35, and Arturas Sakocius, 45, all of no fixed address, have all been charged with kidnapping, and are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (August 17).
A 41-year-old woman from Grays was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, assisting an offender and possession of firearms offences.
She has been released on bail until September 10.
Enquiries are ongoing.
