A minivan drove four miles through the Basildon borough with flat tyres.. wearing them so thin the driver eventually lost all of them.
The grey Volkswagen Sharan was spotted by Wickford and Billericay PCSO's (police community support officers), who discovered the minivan had no tyres.
After further investigation, it was found the car had travelled four miles across the area before losing all the tyres.
The Essex Police team then completed checks on the driver, and a man was arrested for a number of different driving offences.
The vehicle was seized for having no insurance.
