Almost 20 police cars were spotted at the scene of a serious incident last night, witnesses claim.
Residents say 19 police cars attended an incident off Wickford Avenue in Pitsea, at around 10pm last night.
The Echo has seen a video of nearly 30 officers at the scene.

A spokesman from Essex Police, said: "We were called shortly after 9.15pm yesterday evening, Sunday 7 September, with reports of two people acting suspiciously in a car, on Buckerills in Basildon.
"Officers arrived, searched a car and found cash and a substance, suspected to be cannabis.
"They arrested the occupants of the car, an 18-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, both from Basildon, on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
"During the arrest an officer reported being assaulted and called colleagues for assistance.
"A number of officers then attended at the scene and the 27-year-old man was further arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.
"Three officers were treated for their injuries, which were thankfully not considered serious and they remained on duty."
