Drivers urged to avoid area following burst water main
A WATER main has burst on Eastmayne, in Basildon - all drivers are being urged to avoid the area.
The burst watermain is on the main road on Eastmayne between Cranes Farm Road and the A127 turn-off.
Officers rushed to the scene to place blocks and diversions in the area while waiting an an engineer from the water company who has been notified.
Essex Police - Basildon, posted on its Facebook page to warn drivers.
"In the meantime, we are asking that all road users avoid the area to prevent congestion and to keep us, and yourselves safe."
