It might be a late summer's heatwave but it seems we're in the Christmas spirit ... with shoppers coming from across the country for a garden centre festive display.
Summer Hill Garden Centre off the A127 in Billericay is seeing huge demand for its annual Christmas department - despite the late heatwave with temperatures hitting 30 degrees this week.
A spokesman said: "Come and Experience Christmas at Summerhill! Our magical Christmas department opened on the August Bank Holiday weekend, giving our amazing team plenty of time to grow their displays and ensure that we've got the best products and the biggest choice available.
"We've had an overwhelmingly positive response to the department so far, with news spreading far and wide across the county and beyond. So don't sit in this weekend, stuck in limbo between summer and winter; get down to Summerhill and soak up some seasonal spirit!
"It's all you'll want for Christmas - and more."
