Two police officers were assaulted after a late night bike robbery in Southend.
The robbery, which took place around 10.30pm last night (Monday September 21), saw a man in his 20s robbed of his bike by a group of men.
Thanks to suport from Southend Council's CCTV team, three men were then located after the incident, which took place at the junction of Weston Road and Southend High Street.
The men, 22, from Ilford and Romford, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and remain in custody.
One of the men has also been arrested on suspicion of assaulting two officers.
