HEAVY overnight rain is causing flooding issues for residents.
Cars are struggling to pass in St John's Road, Hadleigh, because of the standing water.
Resident Peter Sims took pictures of the issue on Saturday morning.
He said persistent flooding had been an issue on the street for some ten years.
Forecasters warned flooding was possible with high winds and consistent rain.
With many parts of Essex having seen nearly two inches of rain in the past 24 hours, surface water flooding risk remains high. Monitoring river levels, but only prone areas seeing flooding so far.
