A disabled Doctor Who superfan now cruises around in style after making a custom wheelchair modelled after Davros - the creator of the iconic Daleks.
Andy Ingram, 52, built the one-of-a-kind wheel chair after meeting Terry Molloy, who portrayed Davros, at the MCM Comic Con.
He downloaded plans from the internet and got to work using MDF and Plywood.
Andy, from Benfleet said: "I met Terry Molloy, the actor who played Davros at a Comic Con, and thought about buiding a Davros chariot.
"My wife worked on bumper cars when she was younger and helped me put the two together.
"It's made from MDF on the base and top. The sides are 1/8" ply wood. I downloaded a copy of the Davros plans from www.projectdalek.com - with my wife doing any heavy lifting.
"The videos show me test driving it along the path by our home. Everyone loves it and a lot of people want one. I love it too and I like that it makes people smile."
